GLA Communications Hires Washington, DC PR Veteran
— Agency Expands Presence in DC Metro Region —
Millburn, NJ – September 20, 2017 – To help meet the needs of its growing client base, GLA Communications, a strategic communications firm based in Millburn, NJ, has hired PR veteran Karen Addis, APR, as senior vice president. With more than 25 years of experience, Addis has a successful track record of achieving measurable results for national and international corporations, associations and nonprofit organizations as well as expanding agency visibility and operations.
“The decision to have an official presence in the Washington, DC area makes sense,” said Pam Golden, president, GLA Communications. “Our agency has been servicing clients in the region for a number of years, and until now, we’ve never found the right person to lead our operations in that market. Karen is a well-known fixture in the DC PR community, and highly regarded for her industry knowledge and strong commitment to her clients. In addition to having worked for several PR agencies, Karen has worked in-house for large national and international organizations, so she truly understands clients’ needs because she has been in their shoes.”

In addition, she will provide senior-level strategic counsel and service for some of the world’s most distinctive consumer technology brands.

I’m looking forward to growing the GLA brand.”
